01 / WHAT THE PILOT WOULD INCLUDE

A small, defined piece of play.

One existing seeded challenge, one creative concept, three placement adaptations and one consolidated revision round. Final claims, assets, links and dates need approval before a paid launch.

  1. 01
    PROPOSED PLACEMENT

    A Club home card

One clearly labeled advertising card on Micro Club’s home, linking to the agreed challenge.

  2. 02
    PROPOSED PLACEMENT

    A credit above the challenge

An advertising label and sponsor identity immediately above the game. The label is visible before play and on direct entry.

  3. 03
    PROPOSED PLACEMENT

    An optional message after play

One short message and optional link beside replay. Ignoring it leaves the same game, score, controls and replay available.

Three proposed placements, not three promised audiences.

These positions are a scope for discussion, not a booked campaign. PointCast network inventory, paid media and third-party distribution are excluded.

The live sample uses PointCast’s own identity and is labeled “House ad.” It demonstrates a treatment, not a sponsor relationship or a delivered commercial campaign.

02 / HOW THE WEEK WOULD WORK

Approve it. Check it. Keep a receipt.

Seven consecutive calendar days in America/Los_Angeles, with an agreed start and exclusive end. No automatic renewal.

BEFORE LAUNCH

A reviewable preview.

Agree scope, usage rights, claims, dates and fees. Review the exact placement URLs, assets and disclosures. Consolidate feedback into one revision round, then check desktop and mobile browser journeys.

DURING THE WEEK

A bounded support plan.

Proposed checks at launch, midweek and close, plus one correction round for in-scope defects. A named operator, contact channel, working hours and response target must be agreed before launch. No 24/7 support is promised.

AT THE END

A factual delivery record.

Record placement URLs, approved asset versions, dated screenshots, browser checks, publication and removal times, and any interruptions. Remove promotional placements; keep the original game and player saves available.

03 / WHAT A REPORT CAN SAY

Delivery evidence.
No invented performance.

Proposed delivery evidence

  • Which agreed placements were published, and when.
  • Which creative files and destinations were used.
  • Which browser checks passed and which limitations remain.
  • Any interruption, correction or early removal.

Currently unavailable

  • Audience reach, ad impressions and clicks.
  • Sponsor-attributed starts, finishes or return visits.
  • Conversions, sales lift and return on ad spend.
  • Unique-person or hardware-owner counts.

The separate optional play pilot reports consented monthly cohorts, not seven-day sponsor campaigns. It has no sponsor or placement breakdown. Its general results cannot be attributed to this sample. Local Passport data and link parameters do not fill that gap.

04 / PLAN THE WORK BEFORE THE PRICE

The economics are still a question.

The earlier $500 example remains a planning hypothesis, not a price, quote or public offer. Model the work with explicit assumptions before agreeing anything.

Planning cost = hours × assumed rate
+ contractor budget
+ incremental direct fees

A modeled contribution is not cash profit. Actual cash contribution requires collected cash, refunds and paid direct costs; overhead, tax and unpaid obligations remain separate.

05 / BOUNDARIES BEFORE COMMITMENTS

Proposed terms, still unagreed.

Cancellation & interruption

Proposed basis: stop further work on cancellation. Itemize only approved completed production and documented nonrecoverable commitments, within an agreed cap. Prorate any unearned placement balance by undelivered days.

Agree production and placement fee components, refund timing and the approval process in writing before work is commissioned. Accuracy or safety problems may require pausing placements. No cancellation charge or refund obligation is created by this draft.

What is outside the scope

No audience or conversion guarantees, paid-media purchases, creator endorsements, outreach sends, new game engine, unlimited revisions, exclusive rights or physical hardware demonstrations.

No sale of player data or access to private Signal Rooms. Players can ignore the promotional link without losing play. Continuing use of sponsor assets after the term requires agreed rights; the original game remains available.

Make the advertising easy to recognize.

The proposed paid treatment would use an explicit advertising label and sponsor identity on both the entry placement and destination. Keep it readable on small screens and attached when shared.

Guidance: FTC, Native Advertising: A Guide for Businesses · December 2015, checked 2 October 2026. This informs the proposal; it is not a legal assurance.

THE EXAMPLE IS PLAYABLE. THE DEAL IS NOT MADE.
