THE PLAY PILOT / YOUR CHOICE

Make the next
little detour better.

Which games get a first try? Which bring people back? You can help us answer with a small, optional contribution from your play.

Every game stays open whether you join or not.

A LITTLE CLARITY BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Just the shape of a session.

If you join, we receive

  • A random pilot identifier, your consent version, and the time you join.
  • Visits, game starts, and game completions, with the game’s name and server receipt time.
  • Whether a round used today’s challenge and whether you used a gameplay control. No actual controls or seed text.
  • A broad source label, such as PointCast or a campaign. No full referral address.

We don’t collect through this pilot

Your player name, email, scores, keypress contents, hardware identifiers, private messages, room links, or Signal Room tokens.

The practical details

This is first-party, pseudonymous research. A random identifier connects your shared sessions in this browser; it is not an anonymous guarantee, an account, or a count of unique people.

Active pilot records expire 30 days after you join, with a maximum of 200 events. Deleting removes your active records and their contribution to the report. A hashed marker may remain for 30 days to reject delayed enrollment retries; it contains no play events. Cloudflare infrastructure recovery copies may persist for up to 30 additional days. Normal hosting security processing is separate from this pilot.

We use IP-derived rate limits to protect the service. The pilot event records do not store your IP address. We don’t send these events to an outside analytics vendor.

Visits and completions are reported by the browser. They can be incomplete, blocked, or manipulated, and are not trusted competition results. The report separates eligible completed play from all reported finishes.

Your browser keeps the private key needed to view and delete your contribution. Clearing site data can remove that key; the server record still expires. Joining on another browser creates a separate contribution.

Stopping turns off new collection in this browser and its open tabs. An already-arriving event can finish processing; use “Stop and delete” to remove the retained contribution too. If deletion fails, the page keeps the private key for a retry while sharing remains off.

WHAT WE’RE LEARNING

Evidence before bigger promises.

This report covers voluntary pilot participation, not all Micro Club visitors. QA contributions are excluded. Small cohorts stay hidden; an absent baseline is never presented as growth.

The report has not been loaded.

No names, participant records, individual histories, or private messages appear in this public report.
